Axie Classic Arena uses the regular PvP rules and format that will let players earn 75 AXP/axie per win if their MMR is above 800. Players can queue in the Arena without restrictions. They can earn up to 4500 AXP/day for each Axie. This limit includes all other game modes.

Players also earn one chest of random rarity after each win in the Arena (capped at 4 chests at a time). Chests go into a countdown after receiving them. The time required to open the chest depends on its rarity. When opened, players can get Gold from them. The amount of Gold varies according to the chest’s rarity.

Matchmaking

The balanced matchmaking ensures you'll only face opponents within one rank of your own. For example, Bronze players won't face Gold opponents. This keeps matches competitive and fair.

The ELO will change following the matrix below. (+) means match with a higher-ranked player (=) means match with a player of the same rank (-) means match with a lower-ranked player

| Rank | Win + | Draw

Note: Starting at Competitive Season 5, the MMR system for Master and Challenger ranks converts to the old ranking system. MMR decay is reduced by 50% for the MRR change starting at Master rank.

Win Streak Bonus

A win streak bonus is implemented to reward consistent performance and help skilled players advance faster.

Here’s how it works:

MMR Decay

To encourage consistent and active play, we’ve also implemented an MMR decay system. Here’s how the calculation works:
